About Vincent

Vincent Komba received the calling for church planting while he was in college doing missions with other students in unreached communities. Through many experiences and trials, he was called to make a decision, should he follow the calling of God and go into full time ministry to reach the unreached, or follow the worldly wisdom telling him to get a career and have financial stability? He was so convinced that in 2014, he became a full time missionary and church planter. In this decision, he faced much opposition from his family and his community; but he kept looking to God for guidance.  At this time he decided to join an international mission organization where he became the head of the outreach ministry and spent his time visiting communities who had never heard the name of Jesus.

Several years later,  he began to realize that there was a need to train the believers who have the burden of missions to be true disciples of Christ. His heart is to equip disciples with the right Biblical and contextual teachings that will help all of the body of Christ reach out to more unreached communities with the gospel. The Potters’ Center has been the solution to this need.

Currently, he resides in Visiga, Tanzania with his wife Sarah and two children.  He is  a pastor of Christ Laborers Church which began in 2018, steward of The Potter’s Center since 2020, and the Director of Discipleship for The Living Water Ministries since 2018.

"I thank God for being one of the team members who are currently serving in our Potter’s Christian Center here in Tanzania, where I have been appointed by the school board as the Principal since last January 2021. The mission is to train men and women from Tanzania and across the border, to be equipped for church planting ministry especially in areas where people remain isolated from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe that God will definitely use us successfully to accomplish this vision as long as all the glory, all the praise and obedience shall be rendered to Him."
